BE NOT AFRAID

“Just let yourself be transformed by Me – allow yourself to be reformed and allow Me to live My Love relationship with them and you” – by Fr. Paul

As I read our minutes from the last meeting, the above words by Fr. Paul grabbed my attention intensely. The feeling of fear was overwhelming then a sense of peace and trust in GOD followed. It is a weird situation I just went through today. Part of the reason is due to the above words. I am so used to the same old Gabriel, that I am afraid to get to close to GOD because I know if I allow GOD to live in me he will forever change me, I will never be the same again. For so many years, I had what I would call the Augustinian attitude. That is, Holy GOD make me holy, but not yet attitude. Well, enough is enough GOD my lord is calling and calling me to serve him in love. I know that GOD will change me forever and I know that its time to say yes to GOD’s offer of love. I trust, even though I know it will hurt, that GOD’s transformative power is always geared toward the ultimate good. The ultimate good being eternal life with GOD and the Heavenly Family (Saints).
